Hi there; I am Fariborz Sharifian Jazi
As a professor and faculty member at The University of Georgia, I own and edit the Journal of Composites and Compounds. Furthermore, I have been conducting webinars and workshops on how to write scholarly articles. As part of this role, I am also the manager of the Group for Article and Manuscript Writing Training titled GAM.
It is through programs such as GAM that students from all schools and disciplines can collaborate with faculty members and pursue their own research and creative projects. My aim is to integrate the undergraduate and graduate population into GAM’s research culture. I will create opportunities for students across the world and, particularly, at the University of Georgia, to connect with faculty members. This will enable them to develop research and professional skills, and present and publish their work.

Research Interests
My background and research interest are in fundamental, application, technology, and commercialization in Advance Materials/Nanomaterials, such as Biomaterial Engineering (modification and optimization with varied technologies and nanostructured production), Nanofabrication (Thin films, nanotubular and nanoparticulate structures), Advanced Manufacturing (composite Materials and Additive manufacturing) and its related field of study for different applications, including biomedical implants, cancer therapy, coating, and high-quality manufacturing which contribute to healthy, industry, and society.
